This was my wife’s mother’s recipe and is one of the best tasting pumpkin pies that I ever tried.

Ingredients
  • 3 eggs well beaten
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1 1/2 cups milk hot or cold
  • 1/2 cup cream
Servings: pie
Instructions
  1. Combine eggs, sugar, salt and spices.
  2. gradually stir in milk and then pumpkin
  3. turn into 9" pie crust
  4. bake in hot oven at 450 deg. for 10 minutes.
  5. reduce heat to 350 deg. and then bake for 20-25 minutes or until firm.

Ingredients
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 3 cups zucchini
  • 3 cups plain flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 3 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions
  1. Beat eggs, adding oil, sugar, zucchini, and vanilla. Mix lightly but well.
  2. Sift flour with other dry ingredients, and then add to wet mixture.
  3. Add nuts. Mix well.
  4. Bake in 2 greased and floured pans for 1 hour at 350 deg. or until done

Can be frozen.
